has anybody else noticed or had the trouble of aquiring service when the phone turns on? it takes like 45 seconds to aquire a fix for phone calls and what not? anybody else seen this or is there a fix? thanks all

Ditto here. I have also noted that my evdo fluctuates alot, anywhere from 200 kbps to 550 (I am in montana, no REVA here :( )
I am using Verizon and DCD 3.0.1

i seem to connect to quickly, no problems, just having very slow internet speeds (~300-400) and im in NYC

For slow acquisition of service, try this:

(From the dial pad) ##3282# --> Edit --> Enter your MSL (if you don't know it, do a search for GetSPC) --> Menu --> Restore --> OK

If that doesn't help, there are a couple other threads like this with other possible solutions. Try searching.

hmm it doesnt make anything pop up after i dial ##3282# i tried ##778# too but im not sure if thats right combo... please help, thanks

you are VZW- try dialing the same numbers (##778) then hit Talk button instead. that may work. or it may be a custom dialer stopping the codes from working.

yep no luck, i may have a custom dialer... im running 6.1 built it dcd 3.0.1 and i am using the titan dialer, so its the original one but it may be a custom dialer like you said... is it possible to download a regular one? thanks again

ya rats...ok, go to /windows and look for the EPST.lnk there; that will run directly from that link and get you in where you need to be.
