DCD vs. No2Chem

Wow, I just found out about the advantages of using custom ROMs on my Sprint Mogul so I'm trying to figure out which one I should use.

I saw they just released the Titan Kitchen so that's the ROM I was planning on using but I saw the difference in free memory (22.56MB free in DCD and 15.32MB free in Titan Kitchen)... From what I understand, DCD has implemented custom power management, dialers, etc. What specifically does the Titan Kitchen do that DCD's doesn't?

Can anyone guide me on which one to use and why?
(Stability is a plus!)

Re: DCD vs. No2Chem

Best way to decide is to test each one you are interested in for a cpl of days. when I had my Mogul I ran DCDs roms mostly. However, on my Touch No2chems work is very very impressive and I only run his rom. Try em out and see what works for YOU. Thats what custom roms are about... YOU

I also have tried both and like PPCKitchen's. FOR ME, this one has so much more to offer, and it includes sounds from The Muppets!

Re: DCD vs. No2Chem

I have used both DCDs and No2Chems ROMS and no disrespect to DCD, he is an awesome chef but i like/prefer No2Chems ROMS they are very stable and easy to add your own OEMs. Ive used No2Chems 6.1 build5048 and DogGuys Kitchen to make my own custom and i havent looked at another ROM build since

Re: DCD vs. No2Chem

imo no2chems work is the best available for the mogul right now... lighting fast, super stable, and he's always fine-tuning and revising the roms for optimum performance... add to that he also has a tendency to throw in his own exclusive apps and tweaks and there's just no equal. but with everything opinions vary so i'd suggest trying many different ones yourself.

Re: DCD vs. No2Chem

I think it comes down to personal preference. I have tried no2chems and ended up switching back to DCD's. I have absolutly zero problems with his latest release and really see no reason to even consider switching unless there is something major.

That said I really do respect no2chems hard work and that the majority of the people here prefer his roms while its probably flipped over at xda. They both are outstanding period.

Re: DCD vs. No2Chem

I've had nothing but luck with both. I've used DCDs and no2chems during the last week of owning a 6800. I've also used multiple roms on my 6700. Both of these are great, fast, stable. I like the customizability of the kitchen more...but thats me. I recommend...same as above, try them both out...and see which one works for you.

Same here.

I am happy that no2chem finally upgraded to the 3.35 base though.
