no, you'll be fine. when it says that just soft reboot, and all will be well.

Ok first i load up the updater, which shows NO NEW VERSIONS AVAILABLE. then i load up BuildOS and click on Titan_No2chem_5060_WM6.1. i click on all the option i want. set CARRIER to sprint, DEVICE to titan, OS sets automatically to WM6.1 and RUU is set to standard. Phone is plugged in usb cable and synced to windows activesync but not on the bootloader screen. (on regular Today Screen) -Phone has already been updated with official sprint 3.35 rom and olipro 2.40 is installed.

After i have clicked on all my options, i click on the arrow for Build ROM(build is now being created)Once build is complete it will ask to run RUU 3.16.4.2. i click yes to all but then on the last step it says - ERROR (240): FILE OPEN

THE UPDATE UTILITY CANNOT OPEN THE REQUESTED FILE. PLEASE CHECK YOUR UPDATE UTILITY.
(i have to close RUU at this point)

Then a box pops up stating the following:

COULD NOT FIND FILE 'C:/PROGRAM FILES/PPC KITCHEN.ORG/BUILDOS/KITCHENS/README.NO2CHEM.5060.TXT'

i have the read me file for 5040.txt but i do not see one for 5060txt. in any of the folders from the PPC KITCHEN folders on the computer.

Hopefully this is more elaborated for clearer understanding. So is it just this text file that i am missing? and if so where do i get it and where do i place it.

5060 is not yet supported. You'll need to seek help from whoever you got it from (Lennysh, I'm guessing). I recommend the chat room or e-mail.

there's some discussion about this topic in the no2chem thread, towards the end... i dont fully understand it yet, so i've just been using 5054 (supported) but i've been reading and learning... well mostly reading ... lol

this is B.S. i have tried it now with 5040txt. and when i get into the RUU steps it stops and says it has to cancel because it cant find n02chem5040txt readme file but i see the file in the my kitchen folder of ppckitchen.

what is the problem that i am doing wrong.?

look in config.txt in the extended rom, or if you are using sdconfig.txt look there. find it and delete it out of the txt file...

No - you don't want your stock ext_rom to run at all if you are using a kitchen. Particularly if it's from another carrier!

Titan_No2Chem_5054_WM6.1 Selections.txt is in \BuildOS\Projects for me

*edit* i have readme.no2chem.5054.txt in \BuildOS\Kitchens as well...

all it says is, " IMPORTANT: If this is the first time you have flashed a 5050+ rom, the new partition table may cause the phone to hang on boot. PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK IN, THEN HARD RESET AFTER FLASHING. Hard reset is both soft keys and the reset button."

maybe if you delete it and then create a new one? or maybe try running the updater?

yeah, as long as you have the nbh and a blank RUU, you should be able to update it.
