Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.0)

After trying to build(too many to count) no2chem based roms in the kitchen i switched over to the 3.35 base due to not being able to recieve any Bt files, i can send them just fine though. With the 3.35 base it works ! I can build them with exactly the same options checked and it works with one and not the other. One thing i did notice about the 3.35 base is the beam is already checked on initial boot and with no2chem based roms it isnt. What is the big difference if any with the bt stacks ?

No beam is a huge disappointment for me. i've whined about it enough times, so i'll stop.. too late. i just whined about it agian.
anyway, i'm sticking with no2Chem 5054 until maybe his next release, where he can verify beam works..
good to know the base 3.35 works though -- i MAY downgrade if i can't get over my OCD about beam.. lol.

Not yet available from the Updater:

Titan Updates (5060):
-Fixed BT Send/Receive file transfer. Would only send before.
-Added drivers for IR. Beaming over IR does not work but may be useful for testing Remote Control apps, etc.
Please redownload if you downloaded manually for the above changes to be added.
Can be found at http://ppckitchen.org/downloads for now, until it's added to the updater.

If you don't want to update the fix just involves the registry entry which was part of the IRDA OEM..

try this..
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Obex]
     "protocols"="bth"
and you should be able to receive as well as send BT beams now.

(add the above as a new 'String Value' not dword. duh, took me a bit to figure that out.)

THANK YOU caped wonder.. thank you.....

EDIT : BEAM is now ENABLED in the comm-manager !!!!! BT FREAKING RECEIVE IS WORKING !!!!!
funny thing too -your device will not say a peep. nothing. the file will just 'appear' in your 'my documents' folder.
