Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.0)
You must be using an unofficial kitchen. Check w/ whoever provided your unofficial kitchen.

But that didnt answer my question brother!!! Ok i know that u just cant put a rom in the kitchen, but i notice that the roms in the kitchens that u can use alll haqve special texts files that go along with it, my thing is, its text file format right(rom selections), that means it can be changed to fit another rom also!! RIGHT?!?!?

There are NO ROMs in the kitchen. It makes ROMs. Kitchens are not ROMs. You might could add additional kitchens; depends on what you are trying to add. You can not add kitchens for devices other than Titan/Apache. If your question is can you modify a selections.txt based on one kitchen to use it on another kitchen, the answer is yes. Change the Kitchen line at the top to point at the new kitchen. You will likely get a bunch of warning about module xxx not found that you should look at. Saving the selections.txt from within BuildOS will regenerate the file minus any missing modules. |

technically, if you use that terminology, then the ROM should also be food because that's the final product.
from what I gather: Kitchen = which basekit you are using (n2c 5054, Sprint 3.35 etc.) (recipe) BuildOS = the actual app that builds your custom ROM (pots/pans/utensils) OEM = programs that you "add" to the kitchen (think of them as seasonings) ROM = final output of the kitchen you select, along with any OEMs you add. (your final product, a nice juicy steak or if you are a vegen, some veggie soup or garden burger) |
