Cool. Thanks for the input, all. I've added this fix to 5060 for next update. What it does is replaces the keyboard driver which makes sense if it's been happening since 3.35+. Actually a downgrade, but if it works, it works. Doesn't seem to break anything.

For the past 2 weeks the situation has got kinda worst. Theres more keys coming out as doubles n triples plus my keyboard doesnt light up anymore. I'ma try that cab and see if that works.

Yeah it seems to work but my keyboard still doesn't light up. Anyone know what I should do?

check start - settings - buttons - backlight tab

does it show a checkmark? if not thats the problem

It didnt show a check mark so I checked it and soft resetted and it still doesnt work.

weird. when i go into mine, ti's checked.

if you double check, does the check mark disappear or is it still there?
like after you do a soft reset?

Checked means the sensor is on and it will decide if it should turn the backlight on or not depending on how bright the room is.
Unchecked means it will always turn the backlight on and override the sensor.

What ROM are you using? Still DCD?
