Error 109.... that's a new one. What gpsone configuration have you done? And you haven't gotten gps working at all yet?
I havn't got it to work at all yet.
I've changed the settings in gpsone to these

PDE Port Number = 8888
PDE Transport = IP

Great utility!!! Thanks Baffles!

Any chance on having a setting for GPS default on or GPS default off (after reset)?

Well, GPS toggle won't magically make anything work if you can't GPS working with google maps or anything before hand, so I think that may be your problem.

Well, GPS shouldn't be left on (at least on Titan) through sleep mode, so that would kind of defeat the purpose. :-/

It should, as long as it is GPS enabled.

The reason I asked for this option is frequently when I come out of sleep mode, I can not get a GPS lock. In this situation, I can get a lock after resetting the phone. The most common reason I reset the phone is to get the GPS to start working so if GPS Toggle turns on the GPS after reset, it would save me a step which is significant when I hiking or driving.

Again, thanks for a great utility!

cool - anytime is fine, when you're working for free
I am looking for exactly the same thing. Is there any update on this? Searched around but haven't found anything...

Thanks!

Re: BAF GPS Toggle, v1.9 [Updated 7/23]

Wondering if I should be posting this here, I'm trying to debug the reason why my Samsung i900 Omnia internal GPS doesn't seem to work.

I downloaded GPS Toggle, which produced the following:
Code:
Error@Init [Please Report]:
6
Seeing there's the incentive to report this, I decided to post it anyway. Any idea what this indicates, even though it's not on a HTC Titan?

*edit*
Oh, seems like I've gotten my GPS working in the meantime. Apparently I had to enable the PHONE module(!!?) in order to get the GPS working. Now GPSToggle doesn't produce said error anymore and states my GPS is on, which is confirmed by other applications too.

Re: BAF GPS Toggle, v1.9 [Updated 7/23]

Hi,

I have been using BAF GPS Toggle for a few weeks now and it works great.

I am also using the HTC Touch Pro (see signature) which has VGA
Resolution: 480x640
Colours: 65536

The button/icon is small and the Today space is about half the space of other Today plugins/features. Thus I need my stylus to turn it on or off. The fonts are however regular size and thus cut off halfway by the size of the plugin. This means I am sometimes guessing... is that 1 satelite or 7... I'm sorry, I don't have the ability to do a screenshot as I am travelling. I suspect the issue could be solved if the (status) icon is larger for this kind of screen size. (guessing)

(Note I believe the HTC Touch HD has XVGA and its GPS performance could certainly use this plugin as I understand from their owners)

Performance:
Great! (I am using original ROM and Radio, see signature) It picks up satelites almost immediately and this overcomes the slow searching and fixing that other programs use. I've used a few GPS programs to test them out. Both regular car GPS software like Tom Tom and my favourite Route66 as well as off-road software like GPS Tuner... It works great with all and I would advice this clean (low memory) software to any HTC Touch Pro user... (even with the small sized Today plugin as it is)

Let me know when this can be fixed in an update... or if there is another way for us (HTC Touch Pro users) to fix this ourselves?

Thanks,
