that verizon stock ROM you gave me, downgraded my radio back to 1.3 something... and i had 3.37.75, i thought you said that was really dangerous?? and that the ROM you had there didn't update the radio... >_<

well does anyone have a stock rom for verizon that won't update/downgrade the radio??

(thinking maybe this is a verizon issue with my data but dont know what to ask them when i call) so i called VZW and when the woman (very nice though) said, ok, let me bring up how to change the user name, i knew it was going to be a useless phone call. She then told me they dont do this phone in stores and she would send me a new one. eh this is so annoying. anyone else have any ideas?

Had same problem with my 6800 returned it to vz for replacement . though it was just the hardware screwing up as even with custom rom would not hold the password after restoring as per instructions. now have new 6800 just recieved and yeh you guessed gps will not work even after changing items with QPST. wonder if the IP address for gpsone has changed on VZW?

I heard the Shadow-tech Telus cab works for VZW.
Also I had the password issue when VZW sent me a refurb (warranty) for my 6 mo old fresh XV6800. Got the refurb, had the same issue.
So I finally got a level 3 tech. and was advised to change the nutwork name to "BroadbandAccess", and it held my username and password.

Above is a cab you install after the vahalla agps cab. Since oyu have done so much already. I suggest a hard reset then the vahalla cab, then serf cab.
Please post in correct section here.

That is "BroadbandAccess" (without the quotations)

Why do you say it is bricked. I dont know what exactly you are missing but there is something. Did you install a verizon carrier cab? If not do it for kicks. http://dcd1182.n715dp.com/index.php?...r+20090714.cab
