Wish I could be sure the Image I am downloading off the first page was a good image. Seems it might be the problem since I was able to load a different image.

Re: Restoring your xv6800 to a Stock Verizon ROM

I can't get back to stock rom
I did hard reset - connected phone usb and ran wmdc connected.
Ran relocker got 3 color screen shows spl 1.00 relocker
when I get to remove cable and reconnect .. I go to rom update but can not reestablich a connection,
I am experimenting on my old XV6800 ( dropped it and broke power button rubber )
I loaded 6.5 on it before I realized I needed to go to stock vz rom first. Now I can't get back there... I don't want a bunch of programs, I just like the look of 6.5 - I almost never go online - I like the weather selection and almost always use wifi.
Thanks
Jerry

This process is mianly so you can use GPS without VZW blocking.
Are you using the the two folder method?
If so, just go to second folder and continue the process.
When you plug in the USB cable while in bootloader mode, the screen should change from serial to USB.
AtiveStync should not be an issue.
Just remember to let customizations run.
Don't mess with the new ROM, just run Olipro 2.40, then radio, then custom ROM.

3 . Place the Ruu_signed.nbh file in the RUU folder

Sorry but.......What or where is the RUU folder? On the phone, or flash card.... Computer? IDK

Also, I have two xv6800's... and I did this and it worked a few months ago. Could I just clone the one that works ovet to the other?

Look at step one, the third listed software download. Rom update utility.
