Re: Upgrade Problem - Stumped Tech Support as well...

Is it possible that you somehow have a corrupt version of the rom update -- did you download from a mirror? Maybe try downloading directly from HTC: http://216.139.227.230/download/Soft...CS_AM_Ship.exe and flash again.

This according to HTC:

􀂃 ERROR [260] : UPDATE ERROR
􀂃 This error occurs when there is an "open port error" before upgrading the CE ROM image.
Solution: You can reset the device and run RUU again. If you still encounter an "OPEN PORT ERROR"
again, reset your computer and try again.

try redownloading 3.35 again it might just be a corrupted file as stated above.

Hey RT, when I flashed last night I ended up getting the 260 error as well. But try this, when you get the 260 error disconnect your phone and then reconnect it and then run the RUU again.

Re: Upgrade Problem - Stumped Tech Support as well...

Sorry... I shouldn't have simply updated my last post.
I re-downloaded the ROM from HTC's site. I had done this previously, but maybe something happened that corrupted it.

This time however, I removed my SD card prior to using the relocker and left it out through my attempt to install the ROM. I'm not sure if it was the ROM or something going on with my card..... BUT IT WORKED.
I now have the new ROM on my Mogul.

I've decided to test not installing all the Sprint stuff that installs in 3..2..1...
I'm going to re-install all my programs rather than reloading my most recent backup.
I might as well start from a fresh build. Consider I also don't know if my SD card was to blame, I don't want to use the backup from that card.

Again... I guess in the end I'm not 100% sure what helped, but your guidance got me there.

Thanks peeps-
