Re: DCD's 3.1.1 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

He needs to update the first post so it doesn't still say 3.1.0 - its kinda confusing and the only way I realized it was really the new kitchen was by the filename saying 3.1.1

I only knew it was new because the first post was today. I looked i thought it was 3.0.1 but then realized it was 3.1.1. I dont think he released 3.1.0 or at least I never saw and upgraded to it.

All is well so far no problems as usual.

Re: DCD's 3.1.1 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

Hmm. Skyfire runs a LOT faster on here than it did on 5066... which is weird since 5066 is blazing fast... But yet DCD is only using a 6MB page pool... something is up.

I even flashed back to 5066 to see... and there's a huge noticeable difference between the two, even with my 8MB page pool.

Re: DCD's 3.1.1 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

Is there any huge reason to upgrade from 3.0.4? My phone is stable, battery life is great, and I have everything set the way I like it. I don't want to miss out on anything great, but I also don't want to get everything set back to the way I like it, only to not see a difference in the two roms.

If you are happy with the performance you are getting there probably isnt much need to upgrade. It is a little more polished IMO and some are seeing performance improvements. At its core its still a 6.1 stripped rom so its really up to you. I am addicted to upgrades to its a no brainer for me

I use sprite backup and never have to reconfigure too much. The newest version of Sprite really lets you customize what is restored so you can keep it from messing with the registry too much.

Re: DCD's 3.1.1 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

I was having the hugest issue in the world I used the ppcgeeks OEMs (LOL) and I added it to DCD's kitchen (sorry ppcgeeks but DCD has an unbelievably stable rom and it is really fast!)
but I ran across a lot of issues I assume it was from quick menu but I noticed that I couldn't even use my screen. I unfortunately had to reflash back to nochem 5054 for the day...
I guess question is
has anyone actually integrated this kitchen with the ppcgeeks OEMs successfully?

Noir - yes I have.... for the most part and OEM is an OEM, however - DCD's latest kitchen seems to solve alot of issues.... go get the 3.1.2 kitchen and try again...
