at the risk of sounding pushy, is a basekit coming soon? I really, reaaally like the PPCKitchen interface and the fact I can change bootscreens right then and there.

was the texting issue resolved? All I saw was a few posts that Sprint users couldn't text, but there was never any resolution.

Also, anyone know if jivetalk and weatherpanel work stable on this release.

I have never had a weatherpanel issue with DCDs roms. It works fine on this as well. I dont use jivetalk so I cannot speak on that.

Re: DCD's 3.1.6 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

After spending a day with this release I am pleasantly surprised at the apparent speed increase in GPS locks...bluetooth pairing (PLT510) and overall performance with the 3.39 radio. I'm on Alltel. I think this is DCD's best. I gained approx. 2-3 mb on softreset...battery life still good...and I think it plays better with my installed apps. Haven't noticed the memory leak some report on other builds.

Re: DCD's 3.1.6 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

Wow, going from DCD 3.0.4 to DCD 3.1.6..... huge difference noticed.

GPS lock is faster (probably the 3.39 radio vs 3.27 that I had). But the responsiveness of the xv6800 is also much improved as well!

Re: DCD's 3.1.6 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

I tried searching but could not find an answer. I have a stock VZW 6800 and am thinking about flashing to 3.1.6. Does it have MS Office on it? If not is there a way to add it? I use outlook and word often. Thanks for the help.
