I tried to flash dcd 3.1.6 but every time it stucks on 2nd splash screen.
Here what I am doing. I have brand new phone & Stock rom
1) Hard-SPL-MFG.exe
2) Flash dcd 3.1.6 for Verizon
After this step I got stuck on 2nd splash screen. I tried above step 3 times.
Am I doing some thing wrong? Any help will be appriciated.

You say it's a new stock Titan/6800. Which radio was installed?

This ROM only works with radio 3.35 and up. I'm not sure, but I don't think the VZW version comes with a radio that's compatible with this ROM.

You'll need to download a Radio.nbh and upgrade the radio, or install the leaked sprint ROM then flash DCD 3.1.6 over it. The leaked ROM includes 3.39 radio.

I'm not on VZW, but I think you'll probably have to call verizon and get them to reauthorize your phone.(can't remember the exact terminology)

Make sure the tri color screen has 2.40 olipro on it. If it doesn't, your phone is not unlocked and won't accept a non OEM ROM.

I tried with Radio 1.4.00 & Tri color screen says 2.40 olipro too.

Stock Rom Radio is 1.3.0.

Good. Your Phone is unlocked, you just need to upgrade the radio.
If you look at xda-developers, it's listed at the bottom of the first post that the ROM only works with 3.35 or higher.

I'm running 3.39, and I believe DCD recommends 3.39.
As I said before, I don't know what stuff gets messed up on a vzw phone, but if it were me, I'd download and install the leaked sprint ROM and then flash DCD's ROM over it, then install the vzw carrier cab file that's on his first post ad xda.

Maybe someone with a little more experience with vzw can chime in here. I might be totally off base.

You definetely need to upgrade you RADIO first. Available radio options are: 3.35, 3.37, 3.39.

Most people (including myself) report that 3.39 works best in terms of signal quality.

In order to upgrade, you will either need to use the SD Card method (if you have a 2gb or smaller SD card), or flash the entire 3.49 Sprint Rom (not letting customizartions run!) then flash DCD 3.1.6 on top of that. There are detailed instuctions how to do both of these on the XDA Developers forums, and probably here as well.

Yes, I Upgraded radio to 3.35 & finally it worked.

just an FYI you can get the radio ONLY from the ftp here or do a search for sprint radio 3.39 or something like that and find the .nbh that is only the 3.39 radio. its easier to flash via sd card, but i did it with a RUU- its just a little trickier process. pm me if you need to to it with the RUU and i can explain

well, the 3.3x radios pretty much receive the same data speeds, its just the GPS that gets updated from radio to radio. word is that 3.37 is no bueno, so stick with 35 or 39. most are saying 3.39 with the QPST fix is currently working the best on VZ.

As Aquas has stated, for Verizon, this "fix" works very well for many people, myself included. Most of the time on all GPS radios, I would get a lock anywhere from 20 secs to 4 minutes with approx 4-6 sats, rarely 8.
