Re: DCD's 3.0.0 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

Personally, I don't use the stock java(I use the kaiser ripped version), adobe isn't that useful(too slow to view much of anything) and I have a CAB to add live search back in.

Edit: he also has links to all 3 of those things so you can add them back in.

I guess I don't understand much of that. What is "UC"? What language does one write such a script in, and what should the script do? I'm thinking that if I can find and copy my settings files for HTC Home Customizer and Ultimate Launcher, I don't mind manually moving and running a couple dozen cabs. The most time consuming thing is moving icons and themes around.

EDIT: For those like me who are not in the know, read about UC here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366337

Re: DCD's 3.0.0 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

I just flashed to DCDs 3.0.0 and so far so good. I had not ran a 6.1 ROM before and was not familiar with poor memory management or lack thereof. I ran the stock OEM for about 24hrs and with the same programs installed and their was a 2-3mb difference in RAM @startup...but I haven't seen any lag or performance issue.

Copy any oems you want to add into the oem folder in the extracted kitchen. They will then show up on the options list for selection. When the Rom starts building, if there are any errors it will tell you what it was installing. Simply remove that specific oem and re-build.

I found the kitchen a bit touchy but DANG when I finally built a 2.3.2 rom it was the fastest, most memory-available Rom I have ever used. I heard there were some sound issues with the 3.0 so i will watch closely...

DCD and no2chem are quite the shizzle for all the work they do for us users.

Re: DCD's 3.0.0 Is avilable for those who do it DCDStyle

There is really not much difference. If 3.0.0 is working find you probably arent going to even notice any differences with 3.0.1.
