The new stock ROM worked great.I just flashed the DCD 3.0.0,it's been great so far, since DCD didn't add anything to his new ROM,just removed some Sprint junnk that i don't need,so the performance is even snappier than the already great stock ROM.

Re: ROM UPGRADE RESULTS SURVEY- Please vote!

I was told on the Mogul that you don't need to "enable" rev. A...it just automatically does rev. A speeds when you're in EVDO. (assuming you're in a rev. A supported city)

Is this true regarding the Mogul, or do I need to enable something?

Re: ROM UPGRADE RESULTS SURVEY- Please vote!

I like the faster speed in my internet connection. I "love" that I am now able to utilize my GPS. I had some issues initially installing the update, but no issues since the install. I have been trying to decide if I want a custom ROM, or just keep the one I have and get a nice Today's screen. I am also having issues w/getting my tethering to work.

Re: ROM UPGRADE RESULTS SURVEY- Please vote!

Perhaps I am the only one having issues.
Here they are:
1. Bluetooth shuts off in the car and won't come back on until I manually turn it off on the phone and restart it.
2. Every power cycle changes the phone back to some default time and I have to manually change that.
3. The bottom of most of my windows shows up intermittently and it stays in portrait mode more often than not.
4. The silly thing keeps restarting itself and causing all the above issues over and over again.
5. GPS no worky. I get a blue screen with a dot on it and nothing else.

Maybe I am a little slow at figuring things out but the damn thing worked fine before the update.

Re: ROM UPGRADE RESULTS SURVEY- Please vote!

I would say to download, reflash, and reinstall. Make sure the customizations run again. Most of those problems I haven't even heard before. And there have been tons this week!

Re: ROM UPGRADE RESULTS SURVEY- Please vote!

I installed, let the customizations run, then did a hard reset and skipped the customizations. I had a lot of problems with GPS and Internet, so I did it over - another hard reset, let customizations run, test internet to make sure it worked, then hard reset again, skip the customizations.

That got me mostly working. Problems:

1) GPS is kludgy. Microsoft GPS protocol is just slightly different from the standard, enough so that most GPS program will work, but need tweaking to either start the GPS itself or to translate the protocol, or both.

2) 3.5mm headphone adapter no longer works. It worked fine under past versions, but now I can no longer use standard headphones with the Mogul. I have to use either stereo Bluetooth (no good on a plane), or the original earbuds that came with the Mogul. My good noise canceling headphones no longer work.

That's odd...I let it do all of the customizations on its own. My GPS works like a champ, and my 3.5mm VModa headphones work fantastic via my Seidio mini USB->3.5mm adaptor.
