Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

Let me explain why you need to run the customizations. There's a file that runs called "signed_071210_7500 signed.....". The "071210" indicates a date, 12/10/2007. The "7500" indicates the Qualcomm 7500 processor/platform the Mogul has. This file performs low level configurations to the device that are needed for everything to run correctly. These updates are not effected by hard resets. They are inacted by a full flash.

Trust me....time and time again I have seen that customizations are needed after a reflash. Just hard reset after to blow out the bloatware.

My Bluetooth works fine. I have had no complaints. I use a Moto hs820.

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM!

I can't answer the phone! I press answer and nothing happens! WTF!

Currently installed:
HTC Home
HTC Home Customizer
Advanced Customizer 1.1
Threaded SMS (non-Palm)

WTF!!!!!

Gonna try a hard reset. If that doesn't work I'll do a reflash. If THAT doesn't work I'll fire bomb Sprint HQ.

A hard reset didn't work. I'm in the middle of a reflash right now.

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

Everything good so far. I'm making test calls to phone after every step of the process...including in between app installs. Trying to reproduce to find out what caused it. So far all is good after after reflash-->skip custom-->install AdvConfig1.1-->unlock ExtROM-->ran 071210_7500 file, Rilphone2, and IOTA.cab-->reboot-->install WM6 threded SMS (mom-Palm)-->reboot.

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

hey all, newb questions. So you guys are saying that I should let sprint customization run after the update THEN hard rest? Does this method cause anything to malfunction? Once I hard rest do I have to soft rest this time before any sprint customizations are installed? If so when would i do this soft rest?

Just wanted to know if you really have to do a hard reset? I don't really care if there is a lot on extra crap installed. I am just wondering if the phone needs this to run stable. Phone has been working good so far and I am too lazy to reconfigure my stuff again.

Thanks
