Without doing a statistical analysis, I think it is safe to say that you should leave the Rev A setting in the EPST alone and not bother with it. Latency and overall download speeds increased.

Great advice. I now have Rev A speeds by keeping the Rev A option disabled. Latency of around 100ms. Upload max of 600 and Download max of 1300..

start-->settings-->phone-->Services Tab-->Internet then hit get settings

This will take you to a "initiate custom NAI entry to device" screen

Hit Start.

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

So just to confirm - it is 'enabled' (meaning you should get the right speeds in a Rev A area)when the setting in EPST says 'Disable', and 'disabled' when the setting says 'ENABLE'?

Sprint had to find a way to make it a little challenging, huh! All in all, mine is working well! Loving the quick GPS!!!

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

WARNING: This time around, if you don't let the customizations run, you will NOT have the IOTA utility installed.

Other than that, I see no reason to let them run (as usual). In fact, if you let them run it rolls back your PRL to 60610 which is odd since they are generally rolling out 60611 and 60711 to everything else (I've also had much better luck with the newer PRL's too).

Re: ebmorgan's Mogul 3.35 ROM review

Didn't want to start a new thread with my review of the 3.35 ROM. so this is meant to supplement the OP's review.

Upgraded from 2.17 Rom with 1.40 Radio (a very good combo, was satisfied with almost everything)

i ran into trouble with 1.20 olipro's bootloader, kept getting stuck at 11%. i corrected this by reflashing to 2.17, loaded 1.40 bootloader, then flashed with 3.35 ROM/Radio. that went smoothly and without any trouble.

I let the sprint customizations run, complete and then hard reset but i forgot to reset before the customizations ran again. so i just left it. i can always do it again tomorrow.

So far first impressions without any 3rd party apps.

GPS works indoors, found 6 sats and acquired lock within 10 sec.
Doesn't seem any snappier than 2.17.
Ram with customizations were around 24.2 megs at bootup
Speed test running PIE dslreports.com/mspeed yielded 767kbit/sec (will have to try upload later)
USB audio 3.5mm adapter works fine (some say their's didn't work, i got mine from ebay)
IE is more laggy and sometimes freezes while loading sites (guess i'll use opera later)
need more time but tried internet sharing without luck

so far no hangs, resets or other bugs i can tell.

Im happy sprint/HTC got this out. yes its delayed but im not going to complain.
