Why would you want OZ when you can use Palringo which allows for IMs with other Messenger programs?

I am also glad that this ROM is finally coming out, but it will be interesting to see what bugs we face considering how long it took to get here. I expect a well polish update and nothing less.

No way, it's included so you'll want to pay for their service rather than install a 3rd party app.

Re: Mogul Update - ROM "Speculation" Thread Part II

Oh what beautiful timing,
I just got a brand new replacement Mogul (due to the growing white dot on the bottom left corner) and its not even a refurb.
ahh such a pretty new screen, such crisp buttons, and a new rom to complete it.
life is good. yes life is good
is it wrong to love a piece of electrical equipment with such ferocity.

because we hate the fact that palringo has bugs and that it rapes the battery by keeping the data connection open. The reason we want OZ is because its not data connection driven program. OZ uses texts messages, and in this day in age, the vast majority of us have unlimited text. On top of that palringo goes thru some type of server that then connects to the clients servers, whereas OZ communicates directly with the clients servers, if i am correct. If i am wrong someone feel free to correct me.

Although one can never tell with Sprint...I would definitely assume so. It would be like handing you a knife, fork, and and empty plate and saying "Enjoy your meal". Sorry to be the one to knit pick but wouldn't Mar. 10th be considered "late" Q1 08? While this rom is ..."and has"...been something to look forward to, I would suggest waiting to see what happens on Monday before we all start caressing each other.
