Re: Mogul Update - ROM "Speculation" Thread Part II

Well I was very excited to read this, seeing as how I now own a 6800 instead of my 6700, but then I hit on the picturemail stuff and what not. So slightly deflated here. I have to start all over again here learning 6800 inside and out now. Guess I do this thingy first on Monday and go from there.

life is good. yes life is good
is it wrong to love a piece of electrical equipment with such ferocity.
DUDE>>>>>>>>> so not funny. I just about cried when reading this. My saga with Sprint has been three 1/2 weeks in the running now and FIVE... yes FIVE.... P.O.S. already damaged (two with the stupid dots on the lower left portion of the screen) phones given to me in a row, and at least six stores in the area. They swore they were sending me brand new, in the box, phone and I got yet another refurb yesterday. You have NO idea what I've had to go through in the last few weeks. Be so very very happy with your phone. At least someone gets what they need from Sprint.

the light in the bottom left of the screen is a common problem. i'm actually fairly confident every mogul has this "problem." so yes, mine has it too.

Re: Mogul Update - ROM "Speculation" Thread Part II

Kind of bizarre that Sprint would put the entire upgrade instructions? into a tech support e-mail... and even more bizarre that it has a 2007 date at the bottom. Almost sounds like someone 'enhanced' the current upgrade instructions with a few lines about GPS and revA....... pardon my skepticism but I have seen all this before, so I wont get too excited about this until I see it. no2chems 6.1 v2.0 build 5050 rom is fine as far as I am concerned

Releasing on Fridays is never a good idea. If the update were to break your phone you might need to wait all weekend before it can be fixed.

I hope I don't jinx myself for this, but I have no white dot in the lower left of my mogul screen.

Re: Mogul Update - ROM "Speculation" Thread Part II

I'm excited about this, but I cannot believe that Sprint won't allow MMS on WM phones. Every other carrier in the U.S. has MMS working on Windows Mobile. IMHO there is no excuse for this, and is just another nail in the coffin for a failing company.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Sprint service, but is it any wonder why they're hemorrhaging subscribers the way they are?
