Alltel MMS problem PPC 6800

Well I did have MMS last night. It worked both ways on the stock rom/radio. This morning I made the move to 3.27 radio and NexVision 2.3.1 Alltel Rom. Over all things have been well. My 2 issues that have arisen are Hotmail and now pic messaging. Which problem do I want to fix first? The pic messaging. After attempting to send a pic message out it says "Message delivery failed. Or Message receipt failed." I tried to revert back to a "stock" rom, but was unable to.

Alltel settings that are present in the phone are

Server name : Alltel MMSC
Gateway: mms.alltel.com
Port number : 80
Server adress: http://mms.alltel.com/servlets.com
Connect via : Internet
Sending size limitation : 300k
WAP : WAP 2.0

Thanks in advance

Re: Alltel MMS problem PPC 6800

I did not install anything. I just had to change my settings. When I flashed with from stock to NexVision's ROM I never paid attention to the settings. The settings that Lenny provided are the ones that worked for me. The 2nd set.

Re: Alltel MMS problem PPC 6800

I believe the fix for this is to change the following in Pics/Video Configuration:

Gateway: Blank
Port: 8080
Server: http://mms-mt.alltel.net/servlets/mms

Re: Alltel MMS problem PPC 6800

How do I change the settings for the MMS..? I have the Sprint MMS cab installed and it will not allow me to edit the sprint settings for MMS. I can see the settings in the config under MMS settings, then server config but it will not let me ad new or change default. Is there another ca out there that will allow this?

Re: Alltel MMS problem PPC 6800

I am in a super rush right now, but. If it is locked as Sprint, I would believe that you can do the registry edit to allow you to edit the settings. Someone can correct me on it. I know that there is a change that you can make to change the setting. Once you do the edit, then change your settings?
