Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
I think it would be awesome to include a scheduler with the sleep mode. I keep my mogul bedside and the flashing leds and just the leds being on drive me crazy. It would be nice to have them shut off at a specific time and startup again in the morning.

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
Just installed nueled (1.5b) on my touch yesterday, set it to disable the signal led, soft reset, and the led still lights up. Went to check it was still disabled, and when I loaded nueled, theres nothing there (the entire list that was there before, is now blank).
This worked before many many months ago when I used my touch, but now its not. Any fix for this? Nevermind, got it. Reinstalled, and then waited a few minutes after disabling the led before I reset. Guess I was doing it too fast before. |
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
For those curious, this does appear to work on the Touch Pro, but use it at your own risk on this device.
It appears to be able to control everything except for signal LED. Thankfully, it appears that was left out of the Touch Pro. Now the downside to the Touch Pro is you only have the single LED around the d-pad. You can redirect the bluetooth and wireless and bluetooth to something else like charging or notification. This will make the d-pad light up when using either of these. You can also disable the charging led if you like. |

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
So I am clearly not a geek. Can you explain this to an idiot like myself. I've been trying to get this to work for over an hour. I need step by step idiot-proof instructions. It seems like I download it and extract the files then nothing happens. I'm dumb I know.

ok so i'm talking on the phone with the headphones, and then i get another incoming call. no problem, going to ignore it. turns out it keeps going BEEP pause BEEP pause BEEP non stop until you acknowledge it, unlike before where it beeped once and just sat there with options on the soft keys.
how can i make the beeps go away lol |

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
I installed the CAB file and it worked like a charm. I would like to know how to specify a notification. For example if I were to receive an new email, how would I make the green (previous signal light) begin to flash? I tried to figure it out but didn't see how to specify the specific notification. Thanks. Oh I have the HTC 6800 phone.

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

I think n2c was pushing towards making it have some more features, but he got caught up in a load of work. I hope he'll continue it soon. |
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
Well I am just thrilled with the work that has been put into this wonderful little app and say thanks!

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
hello,
I just got a mogul 6800 and like many others I find the flashing green light extremely annoying. I've been reading up on the LED killer threads, but honestly although I am fairly tech savvy, I'm totally new to Pocket PC phones and I have no idea how to install it. Can you give me a clue as to the latest LED app and exactly how to install it step-by-step? Thanks so much. |

2. Open it, and move the cab file inside to your phone. [You can do this via ActiveSync, or by memory card reader] 3. Run the file on your phone 4. Soft reset your phone 5. Go to Start>Settings>System>nueLED 6. Follow the instructions in the first post to control your LED |
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
thanks. Which folder on the phone do I move it to? how do I do a soft reset? just power down and up?
|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
and when you say run the file, do you mean the XML set up document? Thanks.
|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
I see a total of five files that were unzipped from the original cab. So I move all of those to the phone (waiting to hear which folder) and then run _setup?
|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
also, I have ROM 3.56.651.0, is that going to work with this app?
|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
lol
1) ok, unzip the file called no2chem nueLED_1.5b.zip 2) once this has been unzipped on your desktop PC... copy no2chem nueLED_1.5b.cab to your phone, anywhere you like! 3) once on your phone, use the file explorer and find no2chem nueLED_1.5b.cab on your phone. 4) once found select it and it'll install nueLED will work regardless of radio/rom version. feel free to ask for anymore help :P |
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
OK, I copied the cab file to the root directory of the phone. now do I run the file from my phone or from my computer browser? and when you say select it... do you mean double-click or what? Do I have to extract the cab file into the five separate files it contains?
|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
OK, I figured it out... I install it through the phone. Thanks.
|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
don't forget you have to soft reset (reboot) once you've made the changes to the LEDs!
then you're set! enjoy buddy and don't forget to donate to no2chem if you like his work! you get extra features when you do! |
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
this is something that i would really like to learn to do...i have tried this but it didnt really work.
|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
I also couldn't get it to work on my stock Verizon Titan, at least initially.
My problem was that any changes I made on nueLED got discarded after the soft-reset. So I run nueLED, make an LED configuration change, click OK, restart nueLED, change still intact. Then soft-reset. Restart nueLED, change is not there anymore. Now, after about the sixth attempt, the change finally took effect. H*ck if I knew what I did differently then... Subsequent changes still do not reliably register. |
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
you can't make changes and reboot right away, give it a few mins for it to stick
|
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
My LED light seems to be disabled, I downloaded nueLED and the Enable LED is checked but it never comes on. I'm running the leaked VZW stock rom on a Sprint TP

I actually just hit the reset led's button a couple of pages over and it works like a charm. No soft reset needed! |

I put nueLED version 1.5 on my Sprint Mogul (HTC TyTnII PPC6800) running on wm6.1, and it works well. I had to manually find and add Address 4, Mode 4 to be able to disable the annoying red low battery warning LED as well. One minor issue, I have tried to find and kill the address and mode for the orange colored non-blinking LED that indicates charging and the nonblinking green LED that indicates charge is complete. I have found the address and mode for the orange charging LED, but after a soft reset, this LED comes back. Only other problem is the inability to delete it for diagnostic purposes. As now2chem's , this program cannot be deleted easily. As now2chem's dirreply in PPC Geeks indicatesections in PPC Geeks, I tried to change the registry key for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\AllLEDMgr and change dword index value to "Index"=dword:1. Then, I also tried to delete registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\nueLED, but wm6.1 say access denied. Subsequently, wm6.1 could not remove the program. Hope you someone can fix this issue. Thank you for your wonderful product. I was just so frustrated with those blinking LED, and my battery life increased to a great deal. Thank you. |
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
I searched, didn't see anything... Does anyone have any numbers that you can use for the Diamond? So far I have only gotten two modes for the center button, solid on (charge done) and pulsing up (charging)
Anyone know what the circular flash code is for the led's on the front? |
Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...
Does anyone know if there is a setting for a solid blue? On HTC Vogue. Tried the function that allows you to scroll through all the 255 LEDs, did not see a second blue, but didn't quite make it to the end, and not sure if they always light up. Solid blue on HTC Vogue anyone know?
