IIRC, its not possible to get solid colors besides green/yellow.

I think n2c will try to work on that soon though... I wanted a way to have a solid red/blue light on my Mogul.

I was wonder I have a Touch Pro from Alltel. I can see where the LED is on my phone next to the earpiece. The thing is I have never seen it do anything. I thought maybe if I downloaded this cab it would make it work. No such luck. Does Alltel have this disabled?

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

I love NueLED, it came with Ryan's Rom for my XV6800. I have also tried installing the 1.5b version that's out there, which is build of 1005, and Ryan's Rom came with build 1006, I didn't notice any difference or results. My phone also does not keep the charging LED to stay off, sometimes it stays off for a few minutes and turns on again. Seems like some people are having success keeping the charging/complete amber and green light off full time in other forums. So maybe it has to do with whatever other software we have installed, or our Rom, I wonder. Hopefully there will be an update or solution posted in a forum, thanks No2Chem.

No it is a problem with ryans rom. I dont have any issues. And assuming you mean you have ryanmogul rom from xda on your mogul. I highly suggest you use a different rom from a cook here instead. Any of the rom in the upgrades section are good like jmartin, mattsm, or bbsandkm.

I currently use RyanMoguls ROMS from XDA and are the best ROMS out. Why dont you say that to his face drewcam? He spends the most time working out problems and duplicate shortcuts etc.. Totally blows away other lazy chefs.

Why dont you keep your day job? Which is getting people to sign up for Navizon all to make money off of referral bonuses..

NUELED WORKS PERFECTLY FINE ON RYANMOGULS ROMS I HAVE USED THEM ALL

KEEP YOUR DAY JOB!

Yes I'm using Ryans Mogul Rom 6.1 and love it, very fast and has just the extra tweaks and programs I used before anyway. I have not taken the time to learn about other Roms and test them on my xv6800, and I'm not going to change Roms just yet to solve the charging LED issue. Hopefully there is another alternative solution than to change my ROM. I'll check on Ryan's Forum page to see if anyone there knows about it. Obviously this issue is happening to others that I assume aren't using Ryan's ROM. Didn't mean to start a pissing match here=)

There must be something wrong with your phone. I plug my phone in all the time and the amber light comes on until its charged then turns green. Unplug it and light goes off. Thats normal operation.. I also have disabled the lights and NueLed works as advertised.

And drewcams "high recommendation" obviously stems from a personal problem with RyanMogul and not from experience using his work or ROMS..

Actually, I have yet to see any contributions from drew on any PPC community.. Besides trying to make money off of their members. Example: "navizon bonuses"

All I see is contributions from RyanMogul. If someone makes him mad he shows it, but you know what.. Thats also normal operation lol.

Everyone needs to chill out a bit please. No two phones will ever really operate the same. There are just too many variables involved.

Thanks,
Coz

There is no way to differentiate notifications right?

missed calls/voicemail/text/email are all lumped into notifications and only one LED for them correcT?

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

Anyone tested this on the TP2? I doubt it will work as well as the Titan, but its worth shot... I want to get rid of that email notification light.

Yes, all the notifications are listed at the same address.

This would be SO fine if it worked on making the HD2's email notification LED go off (which apparently doesn't work on *anyone's* HD2). So far, no luck.

Anyone got any wisdom on this?

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

Gonna check this out on Titan...Just tired of the constant service blink...

BTW: They changed these boards a bit since I was a regular reader, and I was wondering if there was still a Titan or 6.1 Cab thread like they used to have...Im not a reg editor so cabs work a lot better for me...

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

I've had issues on my P4000 (essentially a mogul) that other people have had.

1- If I redirect anything but the signal light, it never stops. Charging light keeps blinking after I unplug the phone, notification light keeps flashing after I open the message, etc. It doesn't matter what I redirect, or where (the signal light causes no problems because it never stops flashing anyway).

2- when uninstalling, I am unable to remove the "HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\nueLED" registry key. I've tried CERegEditor's "Unlock Registry" feature (and a few other registry editors) to no avail.

Re: nueLED - configure/customize your LEDs...

I know I'm late to the party here but I JUST found out about nueLED after suffering with the blinking light for a long time. I installed Stroth's cabbed version from earlier in this thread (post #20) but the blinking signal light remains. Any ideas why it won't work? I have a Palm 700wx with Verizon, and it is running Windows Mobile 6 Professional. I disabled all LEDs and did a soft reset (several of them) to no avail. Please help!

Enable LED Notification Setting in Sound and Notifications [with my changes for to make it work for Touch Pro2 but it should be good for HD2 as well.]

If you want to get the addresses for HTC HD2 just click the keys up and down in the same area of the registry, and look at what is specified. Or go to the link below for the original forum where I got the info from before I made modifications to their info to make it fit for Touch Pro2]

For Touch Pro2 running on stock ROM wm6.5 for Sprint:

Messaging: New Email Message
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
“AvailableOptions”=dword: change to 15 (default is 11)

Messaging: New Text Message
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
“AvailableOptions”=dword: change to 15 (default is 11)

Phone: Missed Call
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D660-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
“AvailableOptions”=dword: change to 15 (default is 11)

Phone: Voice Mail
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D661-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
“AvailableOptions”=dword: change to 15 (default is 11)

Messaging: New MMS
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{C346 5585-39EF-4c9b-B2A3-5558BF27BFB0}]
“AvailableOptions”=dword: change to 15 (default is 11)

Soft reset. Go to Sounds and Notifications, and uncheck "Flash light for" for each item that you fixed above. "Flash light for" will no longer be grayed out.

Does anyone know of any registry tweaks to disable the flashing red LED notification for low battery in Touch Pro2? I tried to disable it through the "Low battery warning" flash option in Sounds and Notifications menu of wm6, but that does not work. If you want to know how to enable "Low battery warning" in Sounds and Notifications menu, here are the instructions:

1. Search for the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\.

2. Create a new String value, name it Default and set its value to Low battery warning.

3. Now move to Start -> Settings -> Personal tab -> Sounds & Notifications applet -> Notifications tab, choose Low battery warning value from the Select an event drop-down menu and set whatever you want.
