If you want to see a police like mod, google for vjplumbum. It will play the close encounters song and make your lights all flash in different sequences.

Reboot after playing with it to make your LEDs go back to normal.

I'm not saying that this kind of programming is beyond no2chem, it just seems like it would take some serious downtime to work all that out. (And isn't no2chem busy enough fulfilling all our other needs?)

In case no one else has tried it: Addr 2, Mode 1 will produce a more steady yellow blinking light that works well as a signal LED. However I thinks it looks more tacky than the green one.
While farting around with other addresses, I found a weird result on Addr 4 Mode 8.
It blinks yellow a few times before red flashes and kills it.
This has me curious about why only modes 0-1-2 are cycled through when performing the auto test. Can we get it to cycle through more modes?

1.5b correctly cycles by bit shifting, IE 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 etc. note 1.5b is currently only available in my rom until i have time to upload an updated version.. stroths, you could pull the exe out of the basekit (its the only thing thats changed)

Hmm, I'll download it. Thanks Stroth. But I dont know if I need it, I only use it to turn off the green LED.

With 1.5b mine is cycling through 0,1,2,4,8,10,20,40,80. (never 16)
Is this all the possibilities? Or did I screw up the uninstall.
I just want to be sure to cover all the bases. Thanks.

Also, for anyone bored enough (like I am): the best way to cycle through all the is to set the speed SLOW. I Use 2000 ms.
With 1.51 it would sometimes miss a blinking address because it skips by too fast.
It will take some time to go through them all, but if you just set the phone up near your monitor, you can do other things and catch the led from the corner of your eye.

If that's all you want to do then use the modified driver he created. That's what I currently do. It is also compatible with nueLED if you want more functionality.

I'm having the same non-stop flashing issue, any clue how to fix it?

I would recommend not using the rilphone dll because theres a possiblity that it won't work in the future with newer radios. that, and i'll probably be too lazy to update it. but if it works for you, then great - just keep that warning in mind =)

I downloaded the program after the new ROM stopped taking the modded rilphone.dll, and it's working fine for killing the signal LED.

Then I got cute and tried to change my notification LED to the bluetooth one - having it blink next to the mail button was apt, I thought. It works when I get a new text (or whatever), but unfortunately, doesn't turn itself off after I read the text :(
