Just finished an online chat with a Sprint rep who insisted my phone was GPS capable.

(Edit: On reflection, I was too harsh about someone who was just doing their job. Sorry.)

As I said before, Sprint needs to cut back on their ad budget, at least temporarily, and work on better training their CS people.

I don't get how you calling tech support about something that you should be obviously aware off.

Not to sound rude but you sure do have a lot of time on your hands calling customer service. How can you be a member of PPCGEEKS and be calling Sprint and asking about ROM updates or how to activate GPS.

I just feel you should know better.

This is a learning tool for novices to experts and everything in between.

First, I'm taking a sick day.

Second, I was in a chat (not a call. I don't have much of a voice right now) and I asked about the availability of the upgrade. I did it just on the off chance that someone might have some info. (I happened to be checking my bill, so I didn't just go to the web site to ask.)

(Again, I was harsh. Ignore my previous comments. )

I guess I wasn't too clear before. It's the cold meds. Sorry.

Still, I should have given some more details. I was on the Sprint site anyway checking one of the details on my current bill, so as I said, I just tried on the off chance.
