ummm why are you done with the phone? Why are you even considering that anything in this thread means anything? The phone didnt do anything wrong, its the people supporting the software. And they failed on one delivery date, not the 10 speculated dates throughout this thread. People need to stop BS'ing about "release dates". Just be patient.... I can say that the rom will be released tomorrow.. won't mean anything...

and yes even beyond that, the phone isnt the absolue failure some of you impatient users make it out to be. HTC and Sprint havent delivered an official rom yet... so what, big whoop.... I'm running no2chem's wm6.1 and it's about as flawless as i've ever seen a rom come. Gps works great, rev a works great, and it improves on the things that were already working well on the mogul. stop whining about htc and $print not delivering when other people are delivering more...

Thats strange...I heard Q3. LOL...seriously...I think that little boy has cried wolf one too many times. I wouldn't be surprised if its released a week after they catch Bin Laden.

I just got an update from HTC: There have been problems with some parts of the ROM, namely bluetooth and Rev. A...they are pushing it back till "midsummer 2008."

If you really want anyone to believe you, you probably shouldn't use three different dates in three different posts all within a matter of hours... Seriously, I don't really care all that much about the ROM, but I do think people who mess around like that should go play in traffic.

I work as a janitor at the HTC headquarters, and I listened in on a conference they were having with Sprint about this issue. What I gathered from my eavesdropping is that the new expected release date will be early October 2008.

So if I'm reading correctly... you are listening in on a conference and going back to your computer every few minutes as they "change" the date over and over?

My bold prediction.... The rom update will come in before my just submitted passport application results in a passport in my hands.

So there you go, I am now pitting the lumbering federal bureaucracy against HTC and Sprint in a throw down cage match. Now that's entertainment!
