Re: An Easy Guide to Upgrading

Hey everyone.

I just wanted help real quick. Do I have to run Hard-SPL or an unlocker before I can dial ##778 and the like? I have tried with and without an ending pound and all my phone does is dial it and I get a message saying "The number you have dialed is incorrect..."

I am on Sprint.

Thanks.

We all want is help real quick. Doesn't really work that way sometimes. Searching would help you though.

As for some of the comments, yeah it was not a complete guide, but it helped this first time flasher get it right and saved a lot of time in the process. In addition, I gained a better understanding of the process which has helped me explore other options as well. I say the OP did a great job on this. Within an hour I hadmy new rom, flashed o a different rom and was plugging away getting is set up and customized the way it felt best. All in all the entire process from start to finish complete with adding email accounts, setting up GPS and syncing my contacts back on was less than 3 hours. Well worth the time. Thanks OP

No, but you do have to uninstall your non-stock dialer. Then ##778# will work for you.

Re: An Easy Guide to Upgrading

Okay can anyone help me here?

I've copied my NBH as TITAIMG.nbh to a FAT32 formatted MicroSD card and the device says "Loading..." for about 3 seconds, then QUICKLY (took me a few tries to see it) flashes "No Image Found" right afterwards...

Yes, I have double checked to make sure that the file is called TITAIMG.nbh, not TITAIMG.nbh.nbh or anything silly. I did everything I was supposed to and its not working?

Nevermind... figured it out. Apparently XP can't format the card... went to Vista and it formatted no problem, ROM flashed with no problem.
