Questions before I unlock and flashing to WM 6.1

2. Will I have to call Sprint and reactivate my phone after flashing the new ROM?

3. How exactly do you apply the ROM from the SD card? I may go this route as I've seen a bunch of people having issues when pluggin/un-plugging the USB cable.

Yeah, like I'd just go ahead and flash without reading anything. Been there done that. Just looking for some clarification.
