Let me know how it works out for you. Taken from XDA forums:

1. Do a hard reset. (sync before doing hard reset because you will lost all your contacts/calendar/etc...)
2. After reboot install a registry editor
3. Reset the following the registry to default value: (from dynaxfl post)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1001 = 2
-> Change the value data from 1 to 2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1005 = 16
-> Change the value data from 40 to 16
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1017 = 128
-> Change the value data from 132 to 128

Save the change and soft reboot. This should work
4. After your reboot you will not see your registry editor you installed in step 2, but reinstall and you'll see it.
5. Install you apps and you should see them in the Remove Programs
confirmed worked for me........Thanks man.....

no2chem,

first of all. great ROM. it's obvious how much effort you've put into this and i'm officially converted!

one thing, i'm not sure if this has been in all of your builds, but in 5054, MIDI playing seems to be broken.

windows media player reports the source filters not available or something,

and trying to set a midi as a ringtone results in garbled sounds.

again, nice job on the rom!

OMG i feel like such a tool right now. just spent the past half hour reading up on UC's and how to create them. I feel like I've been at the DMV or something with all the time I've wasted reinstalling apps!!!

The attached MIDI's work fine on mine (5054) - maybe it's the file?

N2C... still having phonepad issues.. and sound issues (intermittantly).. I'm reloading 5051 back ..it was pretty stable and fast.

I'll hang until the bugs are worked out (for the next release).

Keep up the good work.

crise,

you have to run the unlocker so that you can place custom rom onto the device. You must have already upgraded to 3.35 prior to unlocking so that you can leverage the radio updates.

Make sure that you save your MSID, MSL, ESN, and MDN so that in case you lose your programming you can put it back in.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

They are compliant - but UC doesn't work for me with 5054 (worked with 5053, 52, 51, etc...) Several pages back others are reporting the same thing.
