Yea, I think that the search feature is nearly irrelevant for a 257 page thread receiving more than 100 new posts a day - haha.
Regardless, though, I've noticed the same problem with the dialer in the recent builds. |

i wish he go back to putting in the normal dialer....since 51 to 54...when ever i use my big button dialer It is so whacked out looking.Tried 48 with the new radio..man there was a fun experience....had to soft reset every time i wanted to end a call..lol....I went back to the 3.35 sprint...at least until the dialer issues are rectified...

I agree he should use the stock dialer. People can use their own dialers if they want to. |
Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
No offense guys, but I think we've exhausted the dialer issue. It's probably been mentioned in half the posts in the past 20 pages that there are issues with it or that it's not the preferred one.
No sense in beating a dead horse, ya know? |

Posts like this makes some say "screw it, make your own roms". I really don't want that. On another note No2Chem said that he will be reverting back to the stock dialer in an earlier post. Some of the people complaining about the glitched dialers are some of the ones *****ing at others to use the search feature. |

NueAGC is an automatic gain control. It automatically adjusts the volume while recording notes or not if disabled it comes disabled by default.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
i would be sick of all the complaining if i was no2chem. he doesnt have to post his work for us but is kind enough to share his progress. he says it is a work in progress in the first page so any complaining about instability can be fixed by you going to another rom. this should really be a question, answer and kind suggestion type of thread. all complaining should be removed IMHO.

so.. if you are a noobie and have a question.. don't' be afraid, i won't flame you and will help if i can! the only way to keep a really long thread organized, IMO, is for the thread starter to keep an updated FAQ |

fyi i have found that with 5054 i nkow at least pcm keyboard .13 works. i havent tried the other on screen keyboards yet.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
I normally use the iBliss dialer, but that has the problem. I then tried the Wizard RETOUCHED dialer (Touch themed) and that works with no problems. Not as pretty, but it'll do for the time being.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
I loaded Olipro 2.4 and then have the official 3.35 rom loaded.
I'm trying to load nueRom 054 and it installs fine but afterwards it stays stuck on the HTC screen, am I missing a step? Ive had an older version of nueRom loaded previously before I loaded the official 3.35 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, ~J |

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
i think we need to get a better search function at ppcgeeks.com ... for example these searches don't work
spc prl hlr msl ## xx% n2c .cab / .zip / .rar etc.. there are tons of times when i tried searching for something, but couldn't find it due to only 3 characters or invalid search.. those up above were just most recent |
Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
to those saying not to report issues...your morons...no2chem wants to know issues....I was one of the first saying about dialer when 51 came out...its called constructive feedback...If you don't tell the issue then issues won't get resolved...If you don't like reading about it close your eyes..i read his post and as i said i await patiently...But to post pics of the issue helps him figure out why and what is causing it...Its called cause and effect people....btw another donation sent no2.unlike other criticizers...thank you for all that you do.....

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
Also finding out with 5054 that its not auto picking up the SD card. You have to do a reset in order for the card to show up in file explorer.

I think I finally tracked the problem down to possibly (stupid me) having done the flash with the battery lower than I thought. It occurred to me today that I flashed at the end of the day yesterday, and my battery may have been too low. I reflashed in the morning with a full battery (it charged all night with its power off) and its been working fine since. Incidently, I had to have it tethered as it went through its endless reboots and catch ith with the MFG Titanunlocker on one of the three second intervals where activesync picked it up. Got it stopped in the Bootloader then reflashed. |
