Failure to do this will have a phone that reboots a few seconds after the radio does something (typically at the screen calibration screen).

After the update, I allowed the sprint app to run. Made sure everything worked ok, then did another hard reset. I skipped the sprint customizations this time, and GPS still works ok for me (not sure on Rev A, I'm going to assume it does). FYI.

stroths You are the man It got me in the boot loader screeen I tried to install 2.17 not happening now. I am re doinf 3.16 once that is done I will try to go back to 2.17 thanks so much man anytime you are in phila, pa I got you period.

Not quite sure if this tells us anything about full vs agps but it still gets my location with the phone/data turned off. Google Maps lists 6 satellites and beelinegps which show the satellites shows way more satellites than my bluetooth navman ever did. So does that mean we have full gps?

just installed 3.16, everythings good,m seems more responsive. gps works, was hanging at "finding satellites" in google maps but im inside and its like 7 degrese out, not going to test it, eye exam tomorrow afternoon, ill do it them.

but yeah the ATI drivers which should have been included in the phone off the bat would be nice...

GPS (check)
migration to ensemble for online esn swapping (im told check in a week or two)
ATI drivers, possible psx emulation (getting there?)

this is rapidly becoming a real phone.
