3.16.651.0 IS real, and so is GPS - Link inside - NOT official release
 

Hey there,

Someone said that 3.16.651.0 wasn't real and so the thread was closed. Well, it IS real, and GPS works with Google Maps!!!!! It's not 6.1 unless it just says 6.0 and is '6.1' behind the scenes. Memory isn't great, around 20MB or so free. I'd like to have more around 23-25, but I'll take GPS. Here are some screenshots I made so you won't flame me.

You can't see the radio version too well in the second pic, but it's 3.27

Also, I don't post on here much, but have been a member over at XDA since 06, so I'm not just some random scam artist.

PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS HOWEVER BEFORE UPGRADING!!!!!!!!

* You MUST have either a stock bootloader or a re-locked bootloader for this to work properly. otherwise, you'll get crashes during the upgrade process. The installer seems a little flakey, so just remember to have the titan_exitbl app if you get stuck in bootloader mode. then, just boot back into your old ROM and try again. you'll get there, mine failed four times before I got it right.

*search for ImCoKeMaN's re-locker on this forum to find the relocker SPL with accompanying titan_exitbl app.

This ROM so far seems great with Battery Life and my Bluetooth clarity is better than any other ROM I've tried so far. I chose to install everything first, and then I did a hard reset and skipped the customizations. I also upgraded my PRL by downloading the 60611.prl file and using ##PRL# function to install it.

I have found that if you have issues where your device seems to be bricked and stuck in bootloader before completion of the update you can fix it by flashing via SD card.

To do this there are 3 steps:

First take the .exe file and open it with winrar. There will be a file 3.16.....nbh extract that and rename it to TITAIMG.nbh

Next format a microSD card with FAT 32 (required most are fat16 default) and copy the file TITAIMG.nbh to the root of the sd card with a card reader.

Finally place sdcard in device and reset into bootloader mode. The flash will proceed from the SD card and it should work fine. Enjoy!

Well, it's the first morning that I have it, so not too sure yet :)

However, I also heard today that the deployment of the official rom FROM Sprint publicly has been pushed back to March. That's just what I heard from my friend that works at Sprint.

I insist that you upload it to allow your fellow geeks to test it out as well. It'll definately raise your rep level, I'll tell you that. And besides, the more issues you submit, the better tester you'll be...and I'm sure all of us can come up with a alot of issue with that ROM.

How was the OP taunting? If he doesn't post screen shots he gets flamed, if he does, he gets flamed. Seems like he never should have posted in the first place.

Along with GPS being included what about the bluetooth issues? Have those been addressed also?I would just like to know.

I had some issues initally with the update, it crashed a couple of times at 11%. I think I might have been having some PC/USB issues. I ended up flashing the Re-Locker (had olipro) since I wondered if that might be it, and then it finally worked. I'm not sure if that was the case, or if it just decided to work finally. Either way, it works now. It was 2AM and I had to get some sleep before work.

I seem to put my mogul ahead of everything sometimes. I couldn't wait another second to put that mamma-jamma on.
