Maybe if you told us what you did to get the colored lines on your phone we could help you get rid of them. Oh, and telling us those little numbers on the screen might also help.

I am returning a Mogul from Sprint since I am within my 30 days and gettting a Touch instead. Im just afraid they will say something once they get receive it about the Custom ROM. I dont want to HAVE to keep the phone just for that. Thanks.

Re: Titan ReLocker - The Hard-SPL undo option

I'm trying to run the relocker but I haven't had any luck this time.
I ran it with no problems to upgrade to the leaked radio & rom but it's too unstable for me so I'm trying to downgrade back to 2.17 but I keep getting the following error message:
cannot load VDM IPX/SPX support.

Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Titan ReLocker - The Hard-SPL undo option

Help... I unlocked phone using 2.40 olipro, flashed NexVision's latest (based on DCD 2.31), flashed the 3.27 radio, and booted up fine. I then set MDN and MSID. On reboot my device won't stop rebooting. I can get into the boot loader but on a "normal boot" the OS never starts and just auto reboots. I am trying to revert, but relocker requires the phone to have a running OS. How do I relock and revert to 2.17/1.32 radio without a running OS on the phone? I tried reflashing Nexvision and 3.27 radio and 2.40 bootloader with no change. I also tried flashing 3.16 beta. That only changed the splash screen to HTC Test Only. :( I also tried flashing from SD with no change. Is there any way I can setup the SD card to get the bootloader to execute the relocker batch? Any help is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: I resolved my problem. I flashed the stock 2.17 rom from SD card and to my surprise it worked. I would still like an answer to my question though. Since it cannot be repeated enough, I will include instructions for flashing from SD card.
1) Format your Micro SD card Fat32 using a MicroSD card reader. Most are FAT16 be default. FAT16 will NOT work.
2) Make a backup copy of the rom you want to flash and rename it to "TITAIMG.NBH" w/o the quotes.
3) Copy TITAIMG.NBH to the root directory on the MicroSD card using a MicroSD card reader, NOT another phone using ActiveSync. ActiveSync will corrupt the file when copying to the card.
4) Safely remove the MicroSD card reader and put the MicroSD card into your powered down phone (battery removed).
5) Put the battery back in and push the Power ON + Camera + Reset buttons all at the same time. Remove the stylus from the Reset button first, then release the other two buttons. Doing this properly is a pain in the butt.
6) The phone should come up in a grey screen and tell you to push the power button to load the rom. Push the Power ON button and wait until the screen shows that the rom loaded SUCCEEDED.
7) Eject the MicroSD card from the phone and hit the reset button using the stylus.
8) Done
I much prefer this method to flashing via USB cable since there is much less that can go wrong.
Good luck
Will

...

It looks like you never successfully installed the 2.40 hard-SPL. If you had, and did not subsequently successfully install the relocker, you would not have overwritten the bootloader with the 2.17 ROM install and it would not operate properly.

I have seen posts from one other person where the bootloader screen showed 2.40 but it was apparently not completely installed.

You are right. The constant rebooting symptom is a bad 2.40 BL install. After returning to the stock ROM (2.17) I was able to boot and Relocker worked great. I then started the process again and installed both the 3.16 beta and then the NexVision ROM and it works great. Now I just need an updated Radio ;)
Thanks for the reply.

Re: Titan ReLocker - The Hard-SPL undo option

I found it best when upgrading from an aftermarket pre-GPS ROM to a GPS enabled ROM to restore the phone to a factory setup (Sprint 2.09 or 2.17 with the 1.32 Radio) and then install the latest firmware and radio. I believe the first step in reverting to a factory setup is to use Relocker.

This may be a mute point but is active sync running and showing connected prior to running the relocker? I remember that the unlocker required it to be running and then told you to disconnect and reconnect the cable to kill the active sync connection. I'm assuming the relocker functions the same.

Help! I'm just trying to load the new stock ROM on, I'm now stuck with it saying 1.20 Olipro, resetting doesn't do anything, I want to load on the new Stock ROM that came out just to get it working, I just had it on a few minutes ago, but tried to then unlock it and load the latest NueChem on it, now I'm just stuck.

The relocker says no device connected, i disabled activesync and it still doesn't find it.

I have some important phone calls that are going to be coming in tomorrow and its 2AM and I'm stuck!

Can someone help? I had tried to load the latest ROM which originally worked and then load the latest nueChem (5053 I believe) but the phone started resetting over and over.

Thanks,

~J

3.xx ROMs are not compatible with Olipro 1.20. Flash the 2.17 official ROM package which is compatible with Olipro 1.20; then install Olipro 2.40 and flash the new official 3.35 ROM package. Then you can flash the custom ROM if you wish.

1. Reset into bootloader (power-camera-reset)
2. Flash official 2.17 ROM package (ignore bit about activesync)
3. Install Olipro 2.40 hard-SPL
4. While in bootloader screen, flash official 3.35 ROM package (ignore bit about activesync)
5. (optional) Flash nueROM

This is compatible with windows XP, please do not use on Vista at this time (unless you are sure you have modaco drivers installed)!

This program will flash a stock 1.06 bootloader to your device to remove the Hard-SPL. In general if you don't understand exactly what this is doing it probably is not for you. It does not give you any additional features, but it might make you feel more comfortable if you are getting warranty work done.

Run the exe and follow EVERY step of the instructions and you should be good to go. If you get stuck in bootloader with vista read the stuck in bootloader thread for links to different drivers. Other then that the standard disable USB in activesync will allow the included exit bootloader program to work.

Thanks go to Olipro for the help with the original Hard-SPL, I also used his modification to the Pof JumpSPL for the loader.
Thanks to Colonel and Luv2chill for testing and helping to clear up my poor instructions

and the link:

ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....n_Relocker.exe

Notes:

Has run fine on Vista for myself and others, but it might be good to have an xp box too

USB must work for this to flash, if you are worried about USB issues you should run this before it becomes a problem.

Make sure you are comfortable with exit bootloader steps first (disabling USB activesync and making sure you have the right drivers if in vista)

Flashing a rom will also exit bootloader and can be done from the 3 color screen.

CPLD-9 is just part of the stock 1.06 bl (from sprint 2.16) do not be worried by that. Also RUUNBH in top right corner will go away next time you enter BL

Thanks, i got the Official 3.35 package after following these steps.

I then tried to load the latest nueRom 054, it loads fine, but when the phone resets after I load it, it gets stuck on the HTC screen and doesn't go any farther. I know the radio is right as when it loads up it says 3.35. Is there a step I'm missing?

Thanks,

I am not up on the nueROM levels; is 054 compatible with the new radio? Your symptom sounds like it is not.

You can go back into bootloader and reflash the OEM package to get your device working again.

You should be able to run an OEM ROM upgrade package with the phone in the multicolor bootloader screen. Plug the phone in to the USB cable attached to the computer and run the update, ignoring the statements about Activesync.

If your update installation .exe file is corrupt, try downloading it again.

Re: Titan ReLocker - The Hard-SPL undo option

What was real simple for me was just loading the rom from the sd... All you do is find the .nbh file... If you have a ruu extract it like a zip file to get the .nbh... rename the file TITAIMG.nbh.. save it on a blank sd ( I belive it has to have a 32 format).. pop the micro sd in... Than do a hard reset( a soft one worked for me to).. It was fast and simple

I just copied the renamed and copied the file to a blank fat32 formatted card. with the battery out, i put it in. I then put the battery in and did a hard reset. I pressed r, and it said it was restoring. I pressed the space bar and was back to the boot loader screen. I did use the relocker, and everything shows up as it should. REALLY GETTING FRUSTRATED HERE..
I have been at this for a few hours now.

Ideas?

I just soft reseted...dunno if hard reseting makes a difference.
Another thing that wasn't working for me was my 4gb card (sdhc related?), anyhow, try the another card.

You also haven't mentioned which bootloader/rom you're trying; as mixing and matching doesn't work...and as I understand can possibly have (very) bad results

Re: Titan ReLocker - The Hard-SPL undo option

Hello all!

I just got my Titan yesterday and already screwing around with it. I probably should've read everything b4 hand...but it is what it is. Apparently you have to flash with some sprint ROM (I have a verizon fone) to upgrade the radio. And then you can flash with whatever. Well I unlocked b4 I flashed and apparently you have to flash with the Sprint ROM b4 hand. So now i'm trying to re-lock so I upgrade the radio but when I run it I get this:

*
* P4000/PPC6800/xv6800/Titan/Mogul ReLocker utility
*
* Total process may take about 5-10 minutes depends on CPU speed.
*
Connect your device via activesync before continuing.
Press any key to continue . . .
Initializing

And its just sits there doing that. Am i missing something? Activesync is syncing away and all....but i get nothing.

Thank you in advance...great work you all are doing!

BTW I have TITA100 SPL-1.20. Olipro for a bootloader
