Re: I should learn not to trust the % on my battery

Whenever my batter drops like that, I always shut down, remove the battery for a bit then reinstall the battery and boot up. This always adds about 10%-20% to my battery reading.

Re: I should learn not to trust the % on my battery

I've had 2 epics and getting my 3rd tomorrow. Plus, I have 5 different batteries. All of those have the same issue.

I suggest you demand a brand new one and not a refurb then...

Re: I should learn not to trust the % on my battery

well seeing as they told me last time that they didn't have access to any new ones and the best they could do was a refurb, I already have a refurb. funny that the guy was like "you are eligible for an upgrade"
"there are no phones I want and this is a sprint network issue not a phone issue"
"well then I can order you the same phone so you aren't stuck with a phone you don't want."

So... Refurb I just got has a menu key that doesn't work. Sprint on phone said go back and the would give me a phone new out of their stock. Go to store and they said they can't/won't do that and never have. All they can do is order me a 2nd refurb so I have to go back again in 2 days. 12/23 at the mall... Great...

Anyhow, I walked downtown with a 40% charged epic. Rebooted it to install something in cwm as I was walking, the phone went to 18% when it booted back up. Did what some here said taking the battery out for a few minutes, etc. phone booted up with 14% battery left.

Always record sprints conversation(assuming its legal in your state) and ask for call reference number lol...

The battery removal trick only seems to work when phone runs out of battery :/..but again there could be different causes.

Re: I should learn not to trust the % on my battery

yeah, I wrote down the number, but was juggling a 2yo and all.

man, I'm just going to stay at home and play skyrim for the next 1.5 week of my vacation. Tuesday while joggling, my iPod died (5.5 years old so expected). Today while running, this refurb's screen completely crapped out after only 1.2 miles. So many white people problems.
