I should learn not to trust the % on my battery
So I left my iPad 2 and HP TouchPad at home and left to FedEx to ship a package. All I had to do was look up in an email the address to ship a package to. I left home with 26% battery life. Mind you, this was my 3500MAH battery. 5 minute drive to FedEx and I was at 13%. Got inside and the phone started rebooting. One reboot and it was at 8% and then it just kept shutting off over and over again. After 30 minutes of fighting with the phone/getting my 1/2 charged original battery from the car, I got the address and shipped my package. It is terrible that no matter what ROM or battery or battery calibration or phone (my phone was replaced once), I still have the issue of the battery % just dropping 20% on a reboot.

Re: I should learn not to trust the % on my battery
I'm running that whatever red one. I need to reload the stock, root to restore the battery app, unroot, and bring back to have them look at the other issue which is obviously a network issue.

What kind of fight were you in with your phone that took you a half hour to finish?

Re: I should learn not to trust the % on my battery
I have been having the same issues with my TP2 lately actually lol..its weird it would drain out really really fast and then shut off due to low battery. Then I turn it back on it has 1-2% battery and shuts off...I leave it alone for half an hour and turn it back on and now it has 20% battery which also drains fast, tried calibrating it and no go.
I think the internal battery sensor might be broken :/ I mean its silly but the longer I leave the phone off the higher the battery meter is when i turn it back on. lol, and I can do this multiple times. So its obvious the battery has power inside it it just sensor going haywire I would think. |
Re: I should learn not to trust the % on my battery
I reckon you could have driven the 5 minutes home and looked it up and then returned with less hassle and more time to spare. Anyways, I hope you get it ironed out!
