Update everything

Sorry if this is innapropriate, but my girlfriends boss has a epic 4g and i rooted it a long time ago so he could have free wifi tether and now he was wondering if i could update everything for him. I was just wondering if someone here in the epic 4g area would be kind enough to help me out with a step by step to put like the newest firmware and everything on it so hes all up to date and still rooted. I actually have the EVO 3D so im not too hip on the EPIC 4g but im hoping its not too difficult/different. I'm just visiting from the EVO 3D area
