can you link me one.

I have tried flashing a rom + modem on Odin and didnt work, dont know about CWM


is there a complete reformat for the phone, even on the phones memory?

try this but pay attention to the odin part on which boxes to check.
"Make the following boxes are checked:
Re-Partiton, Auto-reboot, F. Reset Time"

I didnt catch that, i know flashing a modem only auto-reboot is checked.

Will give this a try and hopefully it will solve my issue

Just tried this, and it is also a no go.

The baseband just isnt able to stick on the phone. its always unknown.

I would suggest leaving it on FROYO EC05(unrooted). Take it back to the Sprint store and tell them you attempted the OTA 2.2 update and now you're having issues. See if they can give you a replacement. Don't forget to clean up your sd card for any traces of rooted content.

the phone is second hand, so i don't know if sprint will even offer me help in my situation.

If anyone is stuck where i am at, try flashing with Odin and have "Phone EFS Clear" checked

and your problems will be solved
