I messed up bad, need help with baseband versions!!!!!!

I was playing around, and going deeper into my phone trying to make my 3g work and i messed up my epic.

Right now my baseband and hardware version are listed as Unknown.
I have used Odin to flash back in a modem, but it doesn't seem to stick.
it sucessfully updates the modem in odin, but when i check in the phone it is still unknown.

Rom is stock and rooted DI18.

without a modem i can not go back into the phone to undo my configuration.

Can anyone help me in my situation?

Re: I messed up bad, need help with baseband versions!!!!!!

Have you tried using odin to flash the DI18 entire DI18 tar with pit file?

you can download the tar here:

Re: I messed up bad, need help with baseband versions!!!!!!

Try one of these:

1) using update.zip method to update to froyo

2) use the EB13 update tool (uses kies method of flashing)

3) Flashing a different modem then DI18 in odin
