Re: official GB when?
Most likely Sprint. Considering that samsung released the source code it "should" be soon.

Re: official GB when?
BTW, I chatted with Sprint today and they said Android 2.3 was already downloadable but I would have to call sprint tech support to download it because my phone states it is up to date..... What gives??? I'm calling support tonight!

Re: official GB when?
When I asked the same question a little while ago, the answer was that Epic is still officially on 2.2. The new Epic Touch is on GB. Maybe Sprint is confused about which Epic you're talking about. Let us know what you find out!

Re: official GB when?
Just chatted with sprint again, no Android 2.3 yet. The previous lady made a mistake, she thought it was for the Epic Touch.
Funny thing is, during my chat session today, the guy talked me through how to update my phone (as if I didn't know how) and when I told him I received a message stating "Your current software is up to date" he had to go back to check on why. Do these guys know anything about their phones???? |

Re: official GB when?
There have been entire threads here dedicated solely to the incompetence of Sprint's customer service reps. So to answer your question......
no. |

Re: official GB when?
Its sprint tech support, what do you expect. I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of a tech support call you would end up fixing their phone instead of them fixing yours.
