well thats a little different..in case of zune they are locking you down into their environment..in this case they arent forcing you to use these program, but as same time pre-install them without users permission.

I've downloaded Titanium Backup * Root, and it allowed me into the program. It says Root Access is OK (BusyBox 1.17.3 from system)

So I guess I didn't do a true factory reset since it's still rooted (only did a factory wipe/reset from the recovery menu) ?
