Re: Battery issues after update?

the airwave is anything but free. it's a free monthly charge but u still have to buy the damn thing. how I know is because in my area there is some cell site issues with some damaged cells being repaired and good ones being removed and upgraded. this is causing some severe issues in my area with calls dropping and Ev speeds not going any higher than 150k,this causes my battery to overheat and really plummet. called sprint and was told that they are issuing airwaves to anyone having issues during these repairs and upgrades and that it wouldn't cost me any extra per month but I still would have to buy it for $150 I said no deal.and as for the OP try installing juice defender or just set it into airplane mode, I know that some workplaces install cellphone signal jammers to discourage use while on the job. where I used to work did that.

I don't think any business is jamming cellphone signals...its against federal law.

Re: Battery issues after update?

I spoke to advanced support then they transferred me to telesales who then told me that. I would really like one, these coverage issues are annoying the hell out of me taking them forever to fix it. premium data my @$$, at least they're crediting me.

Re: Battery issues after update?

My AirRave was free. Yours could be also. Speak nice to them.

I talked to CS first, got transferred to second-tier support. My story (true BTW) was that I didn't understand why I was paying an extra $10/mo for 4G service that wasn't available in my area when I couldn't even get adequate 3G connectivity. They apologized and sent the AirRave overnight. No charge, free shipping.

I did have to pay a one-time $35 fee for a second phone number to it. But no charge for the device itself and no monthly cost. I also had to sign a statement saying that if I terminated my account, I'd give it back.

It has made my Epic the first Sprint phone I've had so far that really works all the time in my home/office.

if you talk to sprint reps the same way you talk down to people around here, i could see why they didnt give you one for free. mine was not only free, with free service, but there was also an upgrade on the airrave line that i finagled in to a new phone upgrade on a diffrent line. whoot whoot. i love sprint.

I think I'm going to give this a try since I cannot seem to ever get more than 2 bars, and drop service often.
