Odin Removed?

Is it just me, or do none of the links to donwload Odin work. The sdx site says the page isnt found. I've tried like 10 links in different threads, and they all take me to the same page that doesn't work. Can someone give me a working link to download Odin? Thanks.

Re: Odin Removed?

Thanks a lot dude. One thing I'm confused about, I thought the modem was basically like the radio in windows mobile. So am i supposed to use the one in the archive you attached here, or the modem that i want to use. And the other thing im confused about is what exactly is the pit. And do i use the one you supplied here? I was able to download the one off the wiki too. One more thing, do the files in this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/sprint-epi...5-earlier.html , include the kernels? I want to get back to stock so i can then try the CWM3 and EXT4 root so i can start flashing some custom roms. Thanks again for all your help.

Edit: one more question, because i was just doing another backup with titanium. Right now my file system is RFS. If i then run the root for CWM 3 and EXT4, my file system will be EXT4. Will titanium be able to restore everything to whatever rom i put on (probably midnight rom) even thought he file system is different?

the pit file is in the odin package, thats for partitioning.

Those include everything! kernel, rom, modem...then you'll have to do the EC05 update.zip to be on latest.

yes it will work, just remember to hit "problems?" to load up custom busy box....I would also make a clockwork backup just in case...

Re: Odin Removed?

Ok, so i flashed the full eb13. worked flawlessly. now, once i signed in to google, it offered the ec05 ota, so i did it. im gonna see how it is first before i flash a customer rom (i read the modem is better, and i noticed that it did upgrade the modem too). my question is, when i root it, should i use the cwm 2.5, rfs root, or can i used the cwm3 and ext4 root. Because i read somewhere that EC05 does not support EXT4? and if i can't, does that mean i have to flash back to eb13, run the cwm3 and ext4 root, install a custom rom, and THEN flash the ec05 modem, so that ill be running the ec05 modem with the ext4 file system and a customer rom?

IF you plan to use RFS, then do the clockworkmod 2.5..if you want to use EXT4 use clockworkmod 3...if you plan to use a custom rom, just flash the custom rom in clockworkmod after..if you plan to use stock rom, then in clockworkmod just flash a kernel with EXT4 support.

Re: Odin Removed?

Im still a little confused. Basically what i'm saying is right now my phone is running a fully stock EC05. Can i use the root with CWM3 and EXT4? Or will that brick my phone? All i want to do is root it right now.

If you want to use EXT4 with stock rom, just flash cwm 3 then flash a kernel that has EXT 4 support such as the Twilight kernel or Vision kernel for example.
