the pit file is in the odin package, thats for partitioning.

One more thing, do the files in this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/sprint-epi...5-earlier.html , include the kernels? I want to get back to stock so i can then try the CWM3 and EXT4 root so i can start flashing some custom roms. Thanks again for all your help.

Those include everything! kernel, rom, modem...then you'll have to do the EC05 update.zip to be on latest.

Edit: one more question, because i was just doing another backup with titanium. Right now my file system is RFS. If i then run the root for CWM 3 and EXT4, my file system will be EXT4. Will titanium be able to restore everything to whatever rom i put on (probably midnight rom) even thought he file system is different?

yes it will work, just remember to hit "problems?" to load up custom busy box....I would also make a clockwork backup just in case...
