I'm guessing you're talking about the DK28 release. The difference between that one and EB13 is this. EB13 is posted on sammy's website, we have a source code to go with it, and plenty of people that didn't already upgrade are reporting the live OTA. These things did not happen with the previous leaks.

I have a custom ROM & kernel, so I didn't see the update. I might back everything up tonight and give it a shot to see what it's all about. I just like flashing things! lol

I'm aware of that, but I'm trying to patiently wait for it to come OTA. I'm not in a rush as 2.1 has been fine for me, and I'm stock...with root and minor app tweaks. I just want to know if th here is a rol l out schedule/plan.

I got the update from running the .exe on Samsung's website this morning. It worked great! Unfortunately, it took away my root and now there's more junk than I'm willing to even tally clogging up my phone. I've been trying for the last few hours to get a root to work, preferably with ClockWorkMod, just so I can uninstall some of these worthless programs! Is anyone else having this issue or does someone know what I'm doing wrong? Every time I try the one-click root it either says the phone isn't connected or it will run everything but get access denied. I've got the drivers installed correctly but nothing else seems to work.


Also, I definitely had root with a few programs uninstalled before the update, but no custom ROM. I think that if you're in a similar boat that the .exe update will work if the OTA does not.

Nothing happening in Tucson yet though.
Update Firmware on my phone tells me my 2.1 is up to date. LOL.
Someone said the rollout plan was 4 days. 2 to go.

i just had a dk28 build with swipe brightness deal but its nowhere on this froyo, well i cant get it to work.

dont forget if your guys are missing ANY apps from stock you wont get update through ota. not saying your are but just a reminder, not sure why all you guys just dont do it manually cause its really simple. if anybody does need any help with it just pm me i would love to help.

I've got the DLs and everything I need. I THINK I have all the original apps back. If I don't get an OTA invite by tomorrow afternoon, I'll give it a shot manually. Don't expect to get stuck but if I do, I'll pm you.
