I got the update from running the .exe on Samsung's website this morning. It worked great! Unfortunately, it took away my root and now there's more junk than I'm willing to even tally clogging up my phone. I've been trying for the last few hours to get a root to work, preferably with ClockWorkMod, just so I can uninstall some of these worthless programs! Is anyone else having this issue or does someone know what I'm doing wrong? Every time I try the one-click root it either says the phone isn't connected or it will run everything but get access denied. I've got the drivers installed correctly but nothing else seems to work.


Also, I definitely had root with a few programs uninstalled before the update, but no custom ROM. I think that if you're in a similar boat that the .exe update will work if the OTA does not.
