Honestly I don't use touch wiz, so not sure I can help you with the "today" screen. I use launcher pro plus and that has a great calendar feature on it. As far as the appts not going off, did you make sure you set a working alarm tone?

Honestly, outside of the delay with froyo, I think it's the best phone on the market. Welcome to the Epic Android land!!! Last edited by shane6374; 02-19-2011 at 01:23 AM. |

Re: 2 questions about appointments
I went into the calendar settings and tried it the other way. I actually found an app that changes the notification sound and it's different than the sms sound. My sms sound isn't that loud but I need my calendar alarm to be. it's called 'calendar event' and I like it so far.
I couldn't get the default calendar to show my upcoming appointments, which is why I asked. I played around with it and searched but it's quite possible I missed it! |

Re: 2 questions about appointments
I use a widget called smooth calendar to display appointments on the Home screen. It's free and available on the market
