Re: windows xp will not connect to android wireless teather
Will your XP machine connect to any other wireless devices, like any routers or access points? If not you might make sure your "Wireless Zero" config is set up in the XP machine.

Re: windows xp will not connect to android wireless teather
What version of Android-Wifi-Tether are you using? have you tried the new 3.0 version?
What does the Android-wifi-tether log say? what does windows log say? |

Re: windows xp will not connect to android wireless teather
Wireless tether uses 802.1n. My XP laptop only had .1g. I had to create an ad hoc connection for the wireless tether to work.

Re: windows xp will not connect to android wireless teather
the laptop does connect to the regular router. i think it has something to do with it connecting to .1g like redshift says. i dont know anything about routers and connection settings. about g's and n's.
