Re: Epic flashed to Cricket. can it be flashed back to sprint?

I see this thread has transformed into a topic about ESN legitimacy issues. I could actually care less about "Repairing" or "Changing" ESNs, "lighting people up" about their Daughter's Samsung Moment getting stolen, or the reason why "MOST" people flash these phones to Metro PCS. All these have nothing to do with the original question.

In my situation (and probably many others), MY EPIC 4G has a CLEAN ESN, is NOT STOLEN, and is able to be ACTIVATED on SPRINT right now.

So back to the original question at hand: CAN THE EPIC 4G BE FLASHED BACK TO SPRINT FROM CRICKET?

Thanks...

If you have clean ESN then yes you can.

PERFECT ANSWER!

Thank you..

Now can anyone shed some light as to how this can be done. Is it as easy as just changing the PRL back to a Sprint PRL?

I assume Ill have to use QPST to change NAM and other settings back to sprint settings. Can I use the settings from someone elses Epic 4G and just write them to mine? Or is there more involved?

Thanks again!

Re: Epic flashed to Cricket. can it be flashed back to sprint?

Thanks for the response!
The phone was rooted before I got it.

What I have Tried:
##786# Reset.
Factory Wipe/Reset within Android Setting menu.
** The phone Stays rooted through all this.
I changed the Cricket PRL back to Sprint 60679 in QPST, I also changed all the tabs and copied them from my current sprint touch pro just to make sure all the info in the tabs was correct for the most part. However when in viewing the Epic in QPST, I notice a few of the tabs are missing, I also dont have the "NAM2" options unlike on the TP or other phones. I have all these options on QPST for all my other old sprint phones, but not on the epic. In the MIP Tab I also cant get the "Active User" to stay at profile 0, it always seems to automatically revert back to 1 somewhere in the write to phone process.

I have not tried clockwork mod or thwn/odin, ive never heard of them.
Would using these tools fix the missing tabs and missing NAM2 buttons in QPST?

Text and Voice works only, data works sometimesat 1x or less only. However when data does work, if I turn on Wifi, it breaks my 1x/3g data connection permanantly.

Thanks again!

Re: Epic flashed to Cricket. can it be flashed back to sprint?

Using Odin, I restored it to the stock EC05. Still did not fix all my radio problems. Now using the leaked EF02, same issues. Still missing many tabs in QPST, and NAM2 buttons.

Re: Epic flashed to Cricket. can it be flashed back to sprint?

You're going to have to use QXDM. And a little google searching!
