I am looking to buy a used phone and came across a decent deal but it is flashed to cricket. She claims it cannot be flashed back to sprint, is this true?
How hard would it be?

I have experience flashing phones before, so not a newbie

Sprint phones are flashed to cricket is because they have Bad ESN's. If it does have a bad ESN it will never be able to be activated on Sprint.

May not be true. I bought a "bad esn" moment last year for $60. Called Sprint a few months later because my brother wanted to buy it, they said the esn was good. He activated it at the Sprint store with no problems.

Bad ESN can be for multiple reasons..one is stolen..other is the account was insufficient funds..

Before buying them ask them about the ESN, there is an ESN checker in Bargain Trader forum here that you can check if its bad or not..

well it doesn't have a bad esn so im missing your point? my point is 99% true if that helps ya.

When I bought it, I called Sprint and they said it WAS bad and couldn't be activated. A few months later, and it was no longer bad.

Dont know why, maybe after it has between removed from the persons account for a while, it is no longer blacklisted?

not all epics are flash to metro pcs because they have bad esn some are flashed because the owner prefers to be on metro pcs because they are paying less a month
