New ROM, so much going wrong

This is where it's weird. It took less than 30 seconds to finish the install. In the past it would take 5 minutes or so. After reboot, it just hangs at the black and white SAMSUNG screen.

What just happened?

The same thing happens if I try to install another ROM like Bonsai4All - super fast "install" and hangs at SAMSUNG screen.

Try to flash the Bonsai Kernel kernel-EXT4-RFS-Bonsai_v1.1.4.2.zip - bonsai - kernel patch Bonsai v1.1.4.2 - Project Hosting on Google Code

Then reflash the rom.

Midnight rom gave me hell too. I did a super clean install too. Its the rom.

You're the first person I have seen complaining about the midNIGHT ROM. I think there must be something going on with your phone or something you did because its working perfectly for me, and pretty much everyone else that has flashed it.

One big mistake I have seen is trying to go from Eclair directly to midNIGHT. You have to start with the stock DK28 Froyo (not the extended version).

How many post are there outside the midNIGHT rom thread talking about problems with it?

I don't know how many there are, but I know how many there should be.

Plus you already complained about it in the correct place. Don't mean to be a jerk about it but it's getting to be ridiculous.

To everyone: If you can't be constructive, or provide some kind of detail, don't complain! It doesn't do anything but piss off the developers and then they leave just like what happened over at xda.

Ya.. I notice u have to do a very precise clean install. I think thats my problem. I flash and reflash ti try out different apps and home replacement. Then it starts acting bad. And no... Im not putting his work down, i like his rom the best. But not for my flash habits.

I know you didn't start this waste of a thread, so I'm not flaming you for that. There are just too many post in here about the midNIGHT rom including the OP that should have been made in the rom theme.
