any one looking for updates on 2.2 official; should start checking here. it apparently has been pushed ota to a dev unit.(im assuming its a dev unit because the hardwareversion is older than mine.) they are working on ripping it from the phone here. edit:verified as real but may not be the official update. could be another beta.

A second Epic with the same hardware version just got the update. Check your phone's hardware version and if you have D700.0.4 you might want to Odin your phone back to stock and see if you get the update. (FYI most of us have 700.0.5)

Yes, I'm that bored I have nothing better to do than hit the reload button every couple of minutes and watch the conversation on xda.

hopefully its starts rolling out. I was looking at my friends droid and he has 2.2 already stock. How does an old phone have newer software than us?

in about phone i checked for firmware update nothing, check android update nothing but when i checked Firmware version it states 2.1-update1. What does that mean?
and my Model # is SPH-D700. any ideas anyone

Just checked the hardware version and it says D700.0.5
